Guidelines for your Blogs

1. Remember: every week you need to update your blog to show your progress:

• What have you accomplished since the last blog?
•  What do you still need to do?

2. You must take the initiative to care out your our research and post what YOU specifically did.
3. You may blog more than once a week, so go crazy.
4. Add images, links, videos and photos to your blog. Scan in images of brainstorms, etc.

Keeping Blogging

You all accomplished a lot of work today. Now you blog the following:

What did you do today in your publicity group? (Attach documents as needed.)
What do you need to do by Tuesday (next lesson)?
What other tasks do you need to do?

Research into your role

Now that you have split up into groups, you must blog your research into the trailer and/or poster.

Then you must write about what you have done so far--your specific role. Include all your ideas, decisions and feedback from the rest of the class.

Dress to Impress!

For the visit to the British Film Institute on Tuesday, we would like everyone to dress 'smart casual'. That means wearing neat clothing. Boys can wear a button-down shirt, but no need to wear a tie. Nothing ripped or too baggy. No hoodies, please. 

Homework: Prepare for BFI Visit

In order to prepare for your Visit, you should do the following work and blog your results:

1. Look at the London Film Festival programme and create a link on your blog. What is a film festival? What other film festivals are there?

2. You will have a chance to meet several directors of short films. You will also be asked to write a review, which you will have to blog. To prepare, find out about the directors below and create a link to them.

Blog Homework

Please blog what you have done so far regarding publicity. For example, include your research into trailers, WSS, house style, brainstorming of format for advertising, etc.

Include a link or a photograph to a trailer or other website.
